the Green Pleasure Pier yielded 25.8 points per hour 2002-2008 while the Mole averaged 11.8. True that was a focus on diversity not just the bigger fish (bonito) but the results to me still seem fairly conclusive. Unfortunately the stats do not take into account the angler friendliness of the Mole vs. Pier, the views, or any of the other issues that make Catalina (both the Mole and the Pier) so special.
