Got a few perch to eat nightcrawlers from dug the backyard. Didn't think they'd work but they stayed alive on the hook for some time and got bit. Guess I'll never have to drop fifteen bucks on a dozen pile worms again. Also the central SF bay still seems to be in winter mode. Water is murky...

Anyone got recommendations for a good trap for shiners? I’ve heard good things about the four-leaf clover style ones but open to other options.
