I've tried live Shiner perch as bait at Seal Beach, Belmont Veteran's Memorial, and Cabrillo Beach Piers. No luck with them as yet.

Overcast and very windy. Managed to catch a short Halibut, on a frozen anchovy, and two Turban snails! Fished a high tide. One other fisherman braving the wind. He caught a small Black perch on shrimp. Wind conditions had me leaving after a short stay. Good luck!
